Common questions.

What counts against my minutes, and what happens if I go over?

Only time the agent spends on a live call counts. Basic includes 500 answered minutes a month — roughly 250 calls at two minutes each, which covers most single-location businesses with room to spare. Texts, call summaries, and transcripts don't cost extra. If you're consistently running past 500 minutes, that's the point where Team makes sense: minutes sized to your actual call volume instead of a flat bundle.

Why is Callspace $150 when other services start at $25?

Cheap tiers usually buy you a small bundle of minutes, one call at a time, and per-minute billing after that — so your busiest month is your most expensive month, and the 9 PM emergency costs the most of all. Callspace is one flat price with no per-call fee and no after-hours surcharge, it handles several calls at once, and it books the job into your calendar rather than taking a message. One recovered job a month more than covers it.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. Callspace works with your existing business number through call forwarding. When you can't answer, calls route straight to Callspace.

How does the AI know about my business?

During setup, you tell Callspace about your services, hours, service area, and how you like to handle different types of calls. You can update it any time — new services, new prices, new hours.

Can callers tell they're talking to an AI?

Callspace uses natural, human-sounding voices customized to match your business tone. Many callers don't realize they're speaking with an AI.

What happens if a caller needs to reach me urgently?

You can set rules for emergency or high-priority calls. Callspace can transfer the call to you directly, send an urgent text, or escalate based on your preferences.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
