Open Members in the sidebar and choose Invite member. Invitees get an email and appear in the list once they accept.
The three roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to all features, billing management, can delete the team |
| Admin | Invite and manage members, manage team settings — no billing access |
| Member | Access conversations, standard permissions — no settings access |
The list shows each person’s role, whether they’re active, and when they joined. The ⋯ menu on a row is where you change someone’s role or remove them.
Choosing a role
Member is the right default for most people. Anyone whose job is answering customers — front desk staff, technicians, anyone working the inbox — can do all of that as a Member, and can’t accidentally rewrite your agent’s greeting or delete a phone number.
Admin is for the one or two people who genuinely own how the agent behaves. Every Admin can change the greeting, the rules, and the phone settings, so keep the number small.
Owner is billing. Keep it with whoever pays for the account.
A note on settings changes
Agent settings are shared. When an Admin edits the greeting or adds a rule, it applies to every call from that moment on — there’s no per-person configuration and no approval step. If more than one person is making changes, agree on who owns what before you both start editing.
